The Merchant Card BIN Management page displays the card BIN (Bank Identification Number) configuration that the merchant has activated and can use for card issuance. It is an important management tool for payment card product configuration and cost control. Through this page, merchants can get a full view of their connected card BIN resources and related business parameters, supporting operations, risk control, and pricing strategy.II. Merchants can view detailed information for each card BIN on this page, including: 1. Basic Information- Card Issuer: The issuing partner that owns the BIN.
- Card BIN Number: The unique BIN (first 6–8 digits) that identifies the card series and determines card ownership, use case, and regional support.
- Card BIN Status: The current status of the BIN (e.g., “Active”, “Inactive”), so merchants can see whether it is available for card issuance and transactions.
- AVS (Address Verification Service) Support: Whether the BIN supports address verification to check the cardholder’s billing address, improving risk control and reducing fraud.
- 3DS (3D Secure) Support: Whether the BIN supports the 3D Secure protocol (e.g., Visa Secure, Mastercard Identity Check) for stronger security and lower chargeback risk.
- Google Pay / Apple Pay Support: Whether the BIN can be added to Google Pay or Apple Pay and other mobile wallets for better usability.
- Virtual Card / Physical Card Support: Some BINs support only one of the two.
- Card Issuance Cost: The merchant’s cost per card issued.
- Transaction Fee: The fee charged when the user pays with the card.
- FX (Foreign Exchange) Rate: The conversion fee when the transaction currency differs from the card currency.
- Refund Fee Rate: The extra fee charged when the user requests a refund.
- Cancellation Fee: The extra fee charged when the user cancels a transaction.
- Cancellation Fee Waiver: The number of free cancellations allowed per card.
- Small Transaction Threshold (USD): The amount below which a transaction is treated as a small transaction in the system.
- Small Transaction Fee Waiver Count: How many small transactions per period are exempt from the small transaction fee before the fee applies.
- Small Transaction Fee: The fixed fee per small transaction after the waiver limit is exceeded.
- ATM Withdrawal Fee: The extra fee for ATM cash withdrawals with a physical card.
- ATM Withdrawal Minimum Deduction: The minimum amount deducted for an ATM withdrawal.
- Physical Card Production Fee: The production cost charged when the user activates a physical card.
- Shipping Fee: The shipping cost when the user activates a physical card.
- App Card Package: The card issuance package(s) linked to this BIN, including sale price, validity, and available currencies.
